My journey
Built through responsibility. Refined through reflection.
This is not a chronology of titles. It is a story of moving from technical depth into operating leadership, governance, transformation and the development of people.
Yasser began his career in industrial engineering and developed through an extended operating career at Advanced Electronics Company. That early foundation built a lasting respect for systems, execution and the discipline required to turn intent into results.
Over time, a second thread became clearer: a curiosity about how systems work, technically, organisationally and humanly. How does responsibility move through an organisation? What happens when roles, assumptions and relationships become misaligned?
Later executive roles brought broader responsibility: leading organisations, enabling transformation, building institutional capability and working across public and private-sector contexts. The work was never only about a plan; it was about the people and choices that make a plan real.
Operating leadership
As President & CEO of AlAyuni Investment & Contracting Company, and later in a senior transformation role at Ajlan & Bros Holding, Yasser worked at the intersection of performance, strategic direction and organisational change. Family-enterprise transformation is an important part of that experience.
At the Saudi Centre of International Strategic Partnerships, he built and led a 70-person international partnerships organisation supporting Saudi Arabia’s global economic engagement. This chapter deepened his experience of institutional capability, strategy and delivery across complex systems.
Governance
His board service includes the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, where he is a Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee, with oversight of governance, risk, financial integrity and internal controls. Earlier roles included Board Member, Vice Chairman and Chair of the Executive Committee at the Saudi Contractors Authority.
Leadership becomes personal
Coaching became a natural extension of that experience. It offers a different kind of leadership conversation: one concerned with judgement, identity, influence, pressure and the patterns that shape how a senior leader shows up.
Beyond work
Curiosity is part of the work: through photography, travel, exploration and the patience to observe before deciding.
